Your post 'The other side of The X-Factor' reminded me of a talent competition my wife had entered a few years ago. I'll always remember one of the guys, who always enters talent competitions throughout the country, standing at the door in tears because he hadn't won. This competition wasn't even televised.They build up their hopes and dreams too much. This also happens to singers/bands playing in pubs & clubs chasing dreams they may never get.So sad.
Hello, thanks for your comment. It's nice to have some interaction again! I watched the X-Factor again on Saturday, and people were getting even more emotional as they went through (or not) into the next round.
